The go-to platforms for content marketing are obvious: there’s Facebook, Twitter, a personal blog or website, Pinterest and many more. What you should also consider is adapting your strategy for unconventional platforms.
Slideshare, for example is a great place to create curated presentations. You can share infographics, documents, PDF files, webinars, videos and images galore. Users navigate to a presentation and then browse through the content slide-by-slide. Sure the main purpose is to create presentation-friendly material, but the platform can be used for so much more than that.
Think outside the box, and don’t be afraid to experiment. You will have to evaluate whether or not a new platform is effective for your strategy relatively early, but that’s easy enough to do.
